The Blount County Youth Court is a volunteer organization. It receives no state or federal funding and relies on the generosity of the community to continue its work for at-risk youth. All funds are used to support the program, its volunteers, and to provide a scholarship to one juror every year.

The thank you reception for graduating seniors and their families is held annually to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of these jurors and thank them for their service. The recipient of the annual senior student juror scholarship is announced at this reception.

All youth volunteers will receive mandatory training. This generally takes place in September on a Saturday. Court is held on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Alcoa Safety Building.
